Cloverleaf Family Bowl has been in business for 61 years; surviving industry struggles that have put other local bowling centers out of business.
In the summer of 2018 a plan was announced to tear down the bowling center to build apartments and condos. In the weeks after the news broke customers rallied together to protest the plan attempting to save the bowling center. From their efforts stories of personal attachment arose showing that the bowlers aren’t just customers but a tight knit community.
What will happen to Cloverleaf and where will this community go if their efforts are unsuccessful?
(This is the original 2019 film synopsis/idea/plan. The main goal of the film hasn't changed too much, but the story has definitly taken some turns in the years since.)
